PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
COAT GIVE
In our first year we gave out over 100 coats and had requests for many more. In our second year, 2023, we gave out 350 coats! We collect new and gently used coats at drop-off locations around the township including all six Lower Merion libraries, retail stores, hair salons and fitness centers. We fulfill coat orders from guests at local food pantries, after school programs, churches, schools, and from members of the community who reach out to us directly. We also set up free pop-up shops where anyone can come select a coat for themselves and family members.

HOLIDAY HALO
Holiday Halo provides gifts to over 100 area community members-- students, elderly people living alone, families, children and anyone who needs assistance or a just a little holiday cheer. Volunteers wrap and deliver gifts in time for the holidays.

CLOTHING POP UPS
Several times a year Lower Merion Cares brings seasonal clothing, accessories and spring jackets or winter coats to area food pantries for guests to shop for free.

PROM BOUTIQUE
Community donations of dresses/formal wear, shoes, accessories and gift cards make up the Prom Boutique that is delivered to the Lower Merion School District High Schools in advance of formal dances for students in need of attire.

OTHER
Lower Merion Cares provides support for the community as needs arise in the form of resource connection, gift cards, school supplies and any other essentials in support of social and emotional well-being.
